Sapphire Ice Cave
This is your chance to visit one of the most stunningly blue ice cave that has formed in the biggest glacier ice cap in Iceland. The Sapphire Ice Cave is a natural wonder of the Vatnajökull National Park region in the southeast of Iceland.
Tour itinerary
We will board our super jeep and then drive you for approx. 25 minutes through the snowy landscape to get close to the glacier. After getting the necessary equipment (helmet and crampons) we will walk for about 30 minutes to the edge of the glacier where the famous Sapphire ice cave is located.
When we get to the ice cave you can take your time to walk around, enjoy the amazing view, take some wonderful photos and make memories you will never forget. This cave truly is breathtaking!

The meeting point for all our trips is at the Jökulsárlón / Glacier lagoon parking lot
Please be there 30 minutes before departure.
There are no toilets in the ice cave so we recommend you use the facilities at the glacier lagoon before departure.
