takes us from the glacier to the Thingvellir National Park, through an arid desert, where the first Parliament of Iceland was founded. It also represents the tectonic boundary between the Eurasian and North American tectonic plates. Due to its unique character, the region is classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

After a walk around the beautiful Thingvellir National Park, we leave to visit Geysir, where you can see numerous hot springs and the famous Geysir, which gave its name to the well-known phenomenon. This area is where we spend the night, enjoying the peaceful environment for our inner harmony.
We will have an opportunity to see the Northern Lights, provided that the sky is clear.

spectacular ensemble of changeable landscapes. The volcanic activity has forged reddish craters, Rhyolite mountains, ash valleys and fields that blend with the deep blue lakes.

We will visit the nature reserve of Landmannalaugar by making short walks on foot before enjoying a relaxing bath in the hot springs. We then continue our journey Eastwards, through the region of the Fjallabak mountain, in order to reach the coast, to the place where we spend the night.

and the Sjonarnipa panorama. Then we take a break at the

bottom of the Svinafellsjokull glacier tongue where the blue of the ice clashes with the turbid waters of the lake. We continue the circular route leading to the Fjallsárlón and Jokulsarlon, Iceland's largest proglacial lakes, where you take on board for a cruise in the middle of the icebergs.

There, among the thousands blocks of ice drifting towards the ocean, similar to some amazing works of art, you can see the seals swimming or sunbathing. It is a place of such an impressive beauty that words cannot describe!!

When returning, we have the opportunity to explore the coast alongside the small village of Vik: the black sandy beaches of Myrdalur, the Reynisfjara cliffs, and the Dyrholaey peninsula. Further on, before arriving at our hotel, we discover two other marvels, the Skogarfoss and Seljarland waterfalls.

a very mild local climate with more sunshine hours than the South of Iceland. The steep mountains, the creeks and the wild rivers make Þórsmörk be a favourite visiting place for many Icelanders. Arriving there in a Super Jeep, crossing torrents and ford rivers represents a very entertaining and totally safe part of the trip.

Another advantage of this nature reserve is that its location represents the place from where you can best see the traces of the Eyjafjallajokull volcano’s eruption. We spend our day exploring the surroundings on foot (peaks, glaciers, canyons) and photographing its wonders.

Optional: Horse riding

the Seltun and Krysuvik hot springs and mud ponds, the Leidarendi cave and the immense foam-covered lava fields that are being traversed in a 4x4 vehicle. We then depart in order to reach the Blue Lagoon, so as to enjoy a well-deserved relaxing bath.
Depending on your schedule, we will drop you off at Reykjavik or at the KEF airport for your return flight.
