Tour itinerary
This is a 2 hours guided tour designed for those who crave bumpy, dusty, and dirty driving thrills and is a unique way to enjoy the Icelandic nature. It’s a fantastic adrenaline treatment and there is no extra charge for dust, mud, water splashes, or even snow! The tour is available all year round and is enjoyable in all weather – yes, even in rain… The Wetter the Better!
We are based only 20 minutes from downtown Reykjavik. Get dressed in our waterproof gear, strap into your two-seat Buggy, and prepare to overcome obstacles in the rugged landscape by the slopes of Esja, the city mountain.
We drive directly onto bumpy mountain roads, climb hills, cross rivers, and splash around. We stop mid-way for the view, to take photos and to change drivers should you and your travel partner both want to experience the joy of driving a Buggy. You can also book a private buggy to get more driving time, but we promise that being a passenger is also brilliant fun.
All you need is a spirit for adventure and a valid driving license for the driver!

Small groups
- Our buggies are very easy to drive. They are incredibly easy automatic machines that you will master how to drive in only a few minutes.
- We use the top of the line factory-made 4-wheel drive CFMOTO ZFORCE 800 and ZFORCE 1000.
- Wear something you don’t mind getting wet and/or dirty. It is a very good idea to bring an extra set of clothing. Wear a warm base layer (the one touching your skin); wool and synthetic materials are best.
- The minimum age for Buggy Riders is 17 years old and the minimum age for passengers is 6 years old. Driver’s license required.
